Ilex URC today announced that the Chair of its Board, Sir Roy McNulty, intends to step down from that post in the first quarter of 2012.
Sir Roy said:
“It has been a privilege and a pleasure for me to serve as Chair of Ilex since 2007, but I will be 75 next year and the time has come when I need to reduce my workload substantially.
I have appreciated the help and support which I have received from many people and organisations during the past four years. The regeneration effort in Derry~Londonderry has begun to make real progress in that time and the City has major opportunities for the future. I have no doubt that a new Chair can provide the sustained focus on implementation which will be required for lasting success”.
