UK City of Culture 2013
Derry City Council in partnership with Ilex and the Strategic Investment Board (SIB), submitted the bid to become the first ever UK City of Culture for 2013. On July 15th 2010 it was announced that Derry~Londonderry will be the first ever UK City of Culture 2013.
