Welcome to Ilex
Ilex urc was established to promote the physical, economic and social regeneration of Derry~Londonderry and has specific responsibility to manage and re-develop two former military bases of Ebrington (26 acres) and Fort George (14 acres). Mixed-use development is envisaged for both sites and revitalisation of the riverfront is a key objective. Derry~Londonderry has a population of over 107,000 and a hinterland of 350,000.

Comprehensive Baseline Study Published by Ilex
As part of the Regeneration Planning process Ilex has completed a review of all available socio-economic data relating to the Derry City Council Area. The results have now been compiled and are presented within Ward Statistical Briefing Reports and Ward Profile Summary Reports for the Derry City Council area. Within the summary reports citizens will be able to see at a glance where their ward is ranked across almost 100 socio-economic indicators including, age, ethnicity, gender, religion and disability. Themes include population, health, education , employment and environment. For those who wish more detailed analysis the Statistical Briefing Reports contain much more information by age, disability, gender, family status and religion as well as detailed maps of the ward boundaries.
